LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF ! I AM THE NEWSLETTER
FOR THE NATIONAL MIDDLE LEVEL SCIENCE TEACHERS' ASSOCIATION.
MEMBERSHIP IN THIS ORGANIZATION WILL PUT YOU ON THE MAILING LIST TO
RECEIVE THE NEWSLETTER, PUBLISHED FOUR TIMES A YEAR.
Level Line contains short articles written by middle
school science teachers who want to share their thoughts and ideas
with the membership. Each issue has ideas for physical, earth,
and life science. One can also read about middle school science
workshops, inexpensive materials, books, meetings, and national activities.
Feel a part of the growing number of middle level science teachers
who are interested in students in grades five through nine.
You are welcome to submit articles for publication in Level
Line at any time. We really need more input from the
members so that this publication can get better and better.
Activities, demonstrations or laboratories that work for you will
be much appreciated by other middle level teachers. The deadlines
for writers are: August 1, October 1, January 1, and April 1.

Keep in mind as you formulate your submission that the National Middle
Science Teachers' Association recognizes the importance of safety
in the classroom and strongly promotes the use of NSTA and
ACS guidelines. The ultimate responsibility to follow
the established guidelines rests with you, the classroom teacher.
Periodically, we will place complete articles from Level
